Office of the Chief Medical Examiner Training March 18-19, 2008

Course open to Licenced Physicians, Medical Examiners and Coroners only.


There is no registration cost for the course.Registration includes: course materials, welcoming reception, refreshment breaks, continental breakfast, lunch and Certificate of Completion. VIFSM has applied for eight (8) hours of Type 1 or Type 2 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits from the Virginia Board of Medicine Continued Competency and Assessment Form required for renewal of an active medical license. There is a $20.00 fee for CME credits, payable by check or credit card.


All accommodations, including travel, lodging, meals and Continuing Education Credits are the responsibility of the conference attendee. VIFSM has arranged with the Crowne Plaza a rate of $115.00 plus applicable tax and fees per person per night. Guests are responsible for payment for rooms, fees and meals that are not provided by VIFSM. Please call the hotel at 804-788-0900. Please give this conference name VIFSM to ensure the best rate.The deadline for the prefered rate is February 18, 2008. After the deadline, there is no guarantee that the preferred rate will be honored by the hotel.


This training event has limited-capacity, so early registration is encouraged. Please complete the registration form and e-mail, fax, or mail to VIFSM. A completed registration form is required to complete your enrollment. The VIFSM deadline to register for this event is March 10, 2008

Guest Fee: Please indicate if you plan on bringing a guest. There is a guest fee of $63.00 per person for those attending the day conference, and $15.00 per person for those attending the reception. If your guest will attend both the day conference and the reception, there is a $78.00 fee.
