Goals & Objectives:

  • Identify the proper procedure & techniques used in the recovery of human remains from surface recoveries, clandestine burial sites, & exhumations.
  • Sketch & map the gravesite/surface remains scene & surrounding area.
  • Process the “crime scene” for the maximum amount of information relative to the crime.
  • Gain understanding of Forensic Entomology, Anthropology & Mitochondrial DNA in identifying human remains.
